    help!horizontal lines appear briefly on screen

    I bought a dv6500t a few weeks ago. Now horizontal lines (sometimes black, sometimes multiple color) start to appear on screen briefly right before (sometimes at the same time with) the Windows user account login. But it gets away occasionally. Is there something wrong with the laptop?

    Clean install and update drivers. If it still happens, get it replaced.
