help - audio driver for dv2615nr (win xp)

hi guys!

i downgraded the hp dv2615nr (vista pre-installed) to windows xp pro. now i got every driver to work...except for the conexant audio hd driver. i can't seem to find it anywhere even on HP website. i also chatted with an HP online tech but didn't help. i followed every steps people instructed but without success either.

please help me get the correct driver for the audio.

well, have you installed the microsoft uaa driver already ?

in case you find the conexant driver you will need to install the uaa driver first.
it´s needed, since xp doesn´t know hd audio.

I'm in the same boat as you vi3tscorpian, I wish I would have seen this thread before I started mine. If you do find a solution I'm sporting a dv2315nr and it will probably work me as well.

 

unfortunately, i can't seem to solve this audio driver problem. i got every drivers working except for this. i've tried many drivers in many ways i was instructed. this will not work if your AMD is a Turion! i'm going back to vista i guess or i will have to use an external sound device, which is not that convenient.
