Hey guys, my old crappy targus cooler broke for my hp dv5t and I am looking for a new one. My HP gets very hot, and I am especially worried about the cpu. Even with max undervolting it still gets to 65-75 quite often.
Since I do not know much about which cooler would be best for my hp, I was wondering what cooler you use/recommend for this computer. Also I was wondering if the Zalman 1000 would be big enough for the hp dv5t 15.4 inch, to cool the gpu and cpu or should i be springing for the 2000 in case i decide to go zalman. Thank you!

cooler master notepal...using it meself, on badaboom encoding proc goes to 57 and the gpu upto 69
on idle.....room temp 19, 39 deg.for proc, and gpu at 43 (powermizer enabled) -
so do you guys think the zalman 1000 would fit the hp dv5t and its vents well. looking at the notepal it seems the fans are only in the back. isnt the cpu in the middle?
I have been looking at the cooler master notepal, zalmans, the aelous enermax and the silverstone as of late. any suggestions from these or other laptop coolers? thanks -
I am also primarily looking to cool the center of the notebook, as the cpu is the thing i am most worried about.

well the notepal circulates the air quite well all over the laptop.....atleast it works for me, i use it to play games and encode, and not to be worried about temps....yes zalman would be better....but as to the fan being on the back ,....it has a rear INLET and exhausts all under the laptop (notepal) too me it is pretty efficent to boot and a great USB hub as well.......
help me choose a laptop cooler for hp dv5t
