I am using this adapter to get output from 7-pin s-video connector and using yellow video composite video connector to connect to tv input. But I am not getting any image on tv at all. I tried to go into display properties and also under nVidia control panel, and changed the settings to enable dual screen with tv, but no success. What can I be doing wrong???

After connectiing to TV (make sure to insert in yellow input), press AV1 or AV2 from Tv remote.

Yeah that is kind of an obvious thing to do.
Now - its my turn to ask a dumb question: did you do the Fn+(insert F-key that switches displays) thing?

thanks czhang, I guess thats something I was not doing, but now that I am doing is, the problem is I still am not getting the video. PLUS, there is a new problem. When I go to Nvidia control panel, and choose clone view or dual view and select Laptop+TV as display, and press apply, and press Fn+F4, screen flickers for few seconds and then it goes back to single monitor view. So nothing is happening at all and settings are getting reverted back to original upon pressing Fn+F4.
    Someone please help me out////
