I installed a new HD and now my system doesn't see
GeForce 4 440, WLAN, modem, one-touch buttons etc. I couldn't find how to fix-
CDs that shipped with notebook don't have any drivers!!

Did anyone change HD and successfully made the laptop recognize the HW??

Thanks in advance. Please tell me asap- I'm trying to fix it right now.

There should have been a driver CD shipped with the notebook... strange.

Oh well, there are newer ones on the HP support website anyhow, though you'll probably have to bounce around the pages for the various zv5000z and R3000z variants to find them all (both series use the same drivers). Ask HP what's up with that.

Thanks for advice, I fixed it. Turns out my driver CD was apart from the rest of the bundled CDs. But before I found it, I installed SP2 on my machine and that was able to find all the missing HW, except one "unknown device" that was able to find a driver for itself on the HP CD.
