    help with evo n610c screen

    today i was trying to figure out why my power supply wouldn't work, thinking it was the port on the computer and not the charger, so i take everything apart and everything looked fine so i put it back together. when i started the computer back up the screen becomes very dark, you can't really see much. anyone have input on what might have happend

    Do you mean that the backlight never turns on but you can see the LCD display very faintly?

    yes the back light dose not shine but you can seen the lcd,

    I'd guess that the cable from the motherboard to the LCD inverter is broken (or not plugged in if it's separate from the screen cable), or the inverter is fried, or the wire connected to one of the ends of the CCFL backlight has broken off, in that order.

    haha yess i got it. after looking everything over again and tracing some wires i found the 2 prongs in the clip that power the back light were bent, so i straightened them and everything works. again thanks for your help
