recently my dv9700t has been getting temps of 66c for the video card. ive had it for about 2 months and only in the last week has it been going that high without the use of video games. i also started undervolting. could that be part of the problem?

66c idle or full load? 55c to 85c is the usual range . what are you using to measure temps

Disable Rmclock and try again if it makes you feel any better

Looking at the readings here mine seem to be going over the top. Anyway of avoiding them. I would however be trying NFS Underground 2 tomorrow to make sure what the actual readings are!

Mine is idling at 60-63 C now. I played NFS for some 10 minutes and it registered a peak of 92 C. Now are these normal? Does anybody know the normal temps for my Graphics Card? I really need to know this urgently. I am playing at the max resolution of my Laptop.
