Just received my new dv6tse today, I am happy with the general build quality of this notebook, some minor flaws but I can deal with considered the price I paid for it. However, I am shocked by the quality of the keyboard. it flex a lot even when i tried type as lightly as I can. I have experience with many laptops and this keyboard has the WORST quality ever, far worse compare to a MBP or a Thinkpad, even a MSI Wind has better quality keyboard than this.

I dislike the keyboard so much I would get a custom keyboard replacement if there is any....

Weird, too. I type pretty heavily and mine has no flex unless I purposely push down very hard right in the middle or on the corners (with my fingernails)

The keyboard flexes a lot even when you type lightly???

True or not, send it back and get a refund.

Okay not literally as "LIGHT" as I can type, but I do type pretty light and the keyboard does flex a LOT, this doesn't affect my typing speed but it just make me feel is keyboard is somewhat cheap or defective...

What kind of keyboard did you get? Backlit or non-backlit? and what kind of "minor flaws" are there? I expect a full review! Just kidding..

    or am I?

Umm, send it back to get it replaced. This doesn't happen at all on my Dv6t-se. You've got a bad keyboard, because no one has reported this at all.

Nobody has mentioned this in the 72 page long DV6tse thread. You can handle this online with HP's support chat.
