The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    hi, i read here at the forum that web cam problem should be solved by installing hotfix KB...something......... i did it and nothing happend.... please help me... i want to use my web cam... i am on windows xp profesional.. installed all drivers for webcam from hp.com... also used acer crystal eye drivers but after i restarted my notebook it did the same - IT FOUND THAT STUPID USB VIDEO DEVICE as a camera which will never work!!!!!!!!!!! there was one driver that worked but after switchig camera off and than back on it showed only pink colour screeen!! HELP
