The feature is Centrino 740. 512 DDR, DVD+/-RW
14 WXGA bright view screen, 60 G HDD,6-in-1 card reader

I know Pavilion series is not for business purpose, how about the quality of this series? HP is also a famous brand.

    Thanks a lot.

The HP dv1000 series are well built. I configure them all the time. They are also light and easy to transport.

True, they are not made for business. It's definitely a multimedia notebook.

But, I don't know what you are going to be using it for...so I can't really give more information than that. If you complete the FAQ , that would be a big help. ;)

Actually, the DV1340us model has a 1.86 ghz Pentium M processor, 100 gb 4200 rpm hard drive and 1 gig of ram with Bluetooh and lightscribe dual layer DVD burner.

A few months ago at CompUSA, I had seen this model and another DV1000 with worse specs. Yet the DV1000 with the worse specs had a better screen than the DV1340us, it was brighter and crisper.
