How do I find out what MB I have in my evo N800c notebook?I have looked in the bios and system info and only see the CPU info.I'm have what I believe is a viedo card problem due to the frequte shutdowns when watching videos or playing games.does this sound like a video card problem?or something else?when it shuts down the power light is on and the light down by the lacth is on but the HDD light is off.I have swicth out the memory and no change, have run the HDD testers HP's and others and the drive checks out fine.ran a memory test and it checked out fine.ran a video test and it says it fine,so....... what can be the prob?that's why I thinking replace the MB but don't know the model # and type.I do have another N800c with a smaller processor and was wondering if I could take the board out of the other one and swap processor etc.thoughts

Why don't you just swap the processor into the other N800c. It would be easier than swapping out the motherboard.

If they're the same model, the screen size is the same, and the ports are in the same places, it is likely that you will be able to swap the motherboards and other parts.

Your N800c must be a few years old. Have you ever cleaned out the fan? The computer may be shutting down because its overheating.
