I just got my new hp nc8430, and its GREAT!! I just can't figure out how to turn off the bluetooth. Oh yeah and thx to all those people that helped me get this computer, its so awesome...
-
Go into the Device Manager, hardware, choose the Bloetooth device, right click, choose "disable".
-
if your notebook has the wireless lan assistant, you can turn of the device without disabling the hardware.
-
Under network connections, is the"1394 connections" connection bluetooth?
-
It's the little anntenae icon located on your taskbar (far right).
If you click on it, you can disable either the WiFI or the Bluetooth or both. -
Won't the HP wireless assistant conflict with Windows' own wireless configuration?
Also, which saves battery life more - turning off bluetooth using the Wireless Assistant, or disabling it from the device manager?
how do i turn off bluetooth?
