    how do you uninstall the hp protec scurity suite

    i installed the wrong one and it now pops up with log on every 20 minutes and the fingerprint reader does not work . Tried uninstall , stiil asks to log on al the time , what do i have to delete to get rid of it ? Installed suite for 8530 on 8510 , for win 7 ult 64 .
    tried in safe mode , deleted credntial manager suite in registry along with authentec and acvt crap.

    Hmmm, not sure if it uses windows installer or not, you could load windows installer clean up utility from MS and see if it is listed, if so clean it out of the installer hive, then perfrom the correct version install.

    Have you tried re-running the installer for the proper suite?

    yes tried re- running the installer , there is no proper suite for 8510 with win-7 , made the mistake . tried your advice . worked , thanks !
