    how to avoid getting a SEC screen on dv2000t?

    I heard that SEC screen on Dv2000t is dark then if I order Dv2000t, how to avoid getting one?

    Also, does dv2000t come with a matte screen? Or is glossy really bad when it reflects?

    It seems that recently those who ordered a matte screen received an LPL. There does not seem to be an answer to your first question if you order a brightview one. Roll of the dice!

    Do you mean to say that "14.1" WXGA Widescreen" is a matte one while
    WXGA Brightview is glossy?

    If that is the case, I will opt for a matte one.

    Yes, Brightview is HP's brand name for glossy screens.

    Just to make sure, so "14.1" WXGA Widescreen" is a matte screen, not a less bright glossy screen right?

    It is a matte screen.

    No such thing as less bright glossy, the glossy-ness is what makes it a Brightview.
