As far as I know the HP home sales reps do not work on commission. Good luck working out a deal with them.

    $450 is deal enough, no?

    They won't combine coupons.

$450 is a great deal itself. You shouldn't take it for granted. Tell me any other Manufacturer that offers $450 and 30%-33% off their Laptops... It's as good as it gets at least for now... Plus I think you also get a free Xbox 360 and Windows 8 for $15, assuming you use one coupon...

If you use the $450/ 33% off coupoon then you cannot get the free Xbox 360.

HP has been running continous 30%,33%, occasionally 35%, and $450 off codes for the Envy in random order for some time now. Depending on you configuration the "%" off coupons are usually better.

Also, can any coupon be combined with the Xbox 360 deal?
No, you can never combine codes or combine Xbox. If you want an Xbox use the code and save the money then buy one.

I have never heard of anyone getting a better deal by speaking with a rep.

    Best deal right now is:

    $450 off code Nbj9867
7% off pretax total price including warranty upgrade if you choose it using mrrebates.com (yes it works)
If u have a AMEX A OPEN CARD 10% off total pretax amount
Other credit card discount such as Amex - additional 1% or ur card (AMEX AOPEN gives you total of 11% off)
Amex and possibly others adds 1 year to whatever warranty version you choose.

Damn I didn't know about mrrebate dude... I used fat wallet and I should be getting 5% back... That's if they hold their end of the deal... It's been a while but my envy just shipped so...
