    hi,
    i have hp tablet laptop which came with vista installed .i had changes my os into xp,.the problem is i want dual boot my system n want vista again but i didnt make recovery cds.i also split the original partition which had recovery files.Is it possible to recover my vista recovery now?plz help me.

    If you formatted over the Recovery partition, you're going to have to get your hands on a Vista install disc. Either a retail disc or the Vista Anytime Upgrade disc, since you already have a key.
