No you don't have to, just follow the steps 0-6 that con247 listed on his signature (DV6T 61xx Manual Switch/OverClock Tutorial) and that's all.

The rest is if you want to overclock.

If you have it in dynamic mode then yes you can select programs to use the IGP or GPU but opengl won't use the 6770m even if you select it to use on high performance.

On fixed mode you'll have to change it manually but opengl will run with the 6770m when on high performance.

So it'll depend on what you use, you don't use or don't care if opengl apps/games use the IGP(Intel) then on the bios keep it on dynamic or change it back to dynamic. If you use opengl and is something that you'll want the apps/games to use the GPU(AMD) then it'll have to be in fixed mode.

Also right click on the desktop and select configure Switchable graphics, for dynamic on the first runs of each app or game to select them to run on power saver or high performance and then later it'll be automatic. You also will not notice when it changes except the fan.
For fixed mode you'll change it manually when you'll want the apps/games to use, power saver or high performance and it'll stay in that option until you change it again.
Fixed mode does have a way to change automatically by having the power savings checked, so when you disconnect the ac adapter it will automatically change to power savings mode if there is no programs running.

Part of this you should know but should still help.

I suggest Google Translate if your primary language is not English. Type it out in the primary language, hit the translate button, copy & paste the results here because I am getting a headache trying to read this thread.
