I have posted an earlier post, and now Im asking any other owners of the 3510nr with the intel chip and discreet graphics if they are having problems with low speaker volume when watching a movie on DVD. Music and other media the volume is fine.Even the headphones arent particularly loud. Can someone advise a solution to this. I have adjusted all volume controls except maybe a one I missed??? Help. I loathe going through the HP game.....

    While your dvd is playing...

    - volume task tray speaker icon - left click once - mixer, scroll through to make sure the appropriate volumes are maxed.
    - in task tray, the IDT audio settings, double click to open up, and make sure the appropriate volumes are maxed.
    - make sure you have the latest updates, if there are any.
    - make sure your laptop is on a flat table, not on your bed or anything
    - make sure your earphones are plugged in all the way and in the middle plug (the right plug has a little less power i think?)
