As the title says, after I upgraded the BIOS from F.08 to F.10, the fan does not stop. It stays on for as long as the computer is on, which is starting to drive me up the wall. Before with F.08, the fan would only come on intermittently. Now, the fan stays on even when I am not using my computer.

I tried reverting back to the older BIOS, but apparently, those BIOS are no longer compatible with my system configuration.

Anybody else out there having this kind of problem?! Help!!!

    OS: Windows XP
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T7100
CPU temperature range when idle (as reported by Notebook Hardware Control): from 36 to about 40 Celsius
