    After a clean instal of windows vista,I have 2 unrecognized hardwares
    Pci serial port
    and pci simple communications controllers
    does any one know what they are?

    It is the Intel AMT and Intel MEI devices. I think you can find the drivers for them on HP's support website.

    they should be in swsetup folder as well.
