i have hp g62 if the lid is closed when i open the lid and press the power button to turn on the laptop it has a delay for 15 to 17 seconds it means i should press the button for 15 sec until see the power light.but if the lid is open and press the power it turns on normally and we don't have any delay.is it related to magnet?the open and close lid happens just when the laptop is off it means its a physical action not software i Gus!!do you have any solution?

I know i dont have to press the power button when i open the lid the screen just comes on by itself. Maybe this is your problem try not hitting the power button and see what happens
