    Hi ,

I`ve recently aquired a hp Invent and in the process of 'cleaning it up' a network setting was deleted and can no longer get past the previous owners password , nor will it open Windows 7 .

What can I do to set it up correctly ?

    100 views .... and no help ?

Discussion of password circumvention as well as bumping your own thread more than once in a 24 hour period are both violations of forum rules.

Indeed, make sure you tread lightly around that topic. Are you talking about the Windows 7 password, or the BIOS/supervisor password? If it's the former, try talking to the previous owner or just wiping the install and doing a clean Windows 7 installation. If it's the latter, you'll have to talk to either HP or the past owner for that information.
