    hi i got hp compaq nx9010 laptop water spill on keyboard moths ago still works fine . apart from keyboard and sound.for example type on key dose not do what you want it to do there no sound for what so ever plz help

    Those components are likely dead or water damaged. You can get a replacement keyboard and speaker on ebay for about $30.

    It only takes about 10mins to replace. The service manual can be found here

    Don't be afraid to try replacing the keyboard. Follow the instructions in the manual (cited in the post above).

    Use care, however, removing the ribbon cable. I don't have experience with this particular model, but these keyboard's ribbon-cable connectors are usually opened by flipping a top locking bar into a vertical position (from the horizontal) by putting your fingernail under the middle of the back of the connector (the side toward the screen) and flipping it up. The ribbon should then be loose to come out without resistance. Reverse the procedure, to install the new keyboard.

    thanks yea got my key keyboard replace working well. I dont know whats the problem with my sound got that replace too but still no sound
