    i was promised from the tech guy on the phone from hp shopping that if i bought the laptop then, when the remote wasn't available, that i could buy it seperately. does anyone know any inside or underground info on when the release of the little remote that resides in the pc card slot will be out to buy seperately??

    It is listed as costing $12.50. Unfortunately, it shows it as unavailable at this time.
