    hp dv2500 getting very hot !!!!!

    my hp dv2500 laptop gets very hot!!!! sometime it just shut down.
    is it normal? does anyone have the same problem???

    It shouldn't get that hot if the fan is working correctly. Are you blocking the vents of the notebook? Also, have you tried updating the BIOS for your notebook? It seemed to help others in lower their temperatures due to the fan being on at low speeds more constantly. Try updating your BIOS to the newest one available and post back.
