Ive been looking at both laptops and they both can be conifigured with the same stuff, mainly what I want is the geforce 8400 and 2 gb ram. From the reviews that I have read, they both seem to be excellent laptops. The Dell seems to get a slightly better battery life, but it looks quite a bit chunkier. Even though I think the color options are cool, HP laptops still look so much better. The 2500t looks lighter but is the batter life as good. which one should I get.

I say get the HP without a doubt. I can't stand chunky dells. the HP is thin and light, and it isn't ugly either. Good specs, too. don't foget to check for the verve edition at best buy...

yeah, I liked the verve edition and it seems like a good deal but I really would want the discrete graphics, they didn't put that into the verve
