    hey guys ive been looking all over forum for information regarding this laptop but so far havent really found any real clue. im just wondering anyone that does own the laptop can you give me a brief run down of the battery life roughly per charge? ^.^ thanks in advance.
    P.S ive heard its about 3hrs, obviously under light work like websurfing, typing etc.

    It gets about 3.5 hours under normal use (60% brightness, light-medium websurfing, word processing).

    With which battery? Retail versions use the standard capacity 6-cell.

    Can you post your spec of your model.

    Mine in my sig only lasts 1:45mins to 2hrs max just doing very light tasks. Although I do run the screen on max brightness, however it doesn't make much difference if I lower it.

    wow if the 3.5hr is true ill buy it without a doubt ^.^
    @T2050 the 3030tx comes with i5 540m, 4gb ddr3 ram, hd5650 with switchable graphics , 640gb HDD i think. the rest i think same with otehr dv6 regarding ports, wireless card etc so not posting :) well i would say mine will only last a little more than urs as the i7 more powerful and no switchable graphics for light task which is enough for what i need :)
