i was at bestbuy and looked at all the notebooks, sony, dell , gateway, toshiba, and hp,s

sony-dell- boring looking, not anyone is going to say WOW... even dells highly rated m1530 ,,, i thought it was just average looking notebook..run of a mill

toshiba- wow, you talk about plastic fest- fingerprints all over this thing...

gateway- actually i thought they were not to bad looking

hp dv6000t- wow,,,cool looking, i had to admit, i wanted it badly, and could not say that about the others. it is actually the dv6780se

my understanding is that you can only buy this at bestbuy , the clay edition-IS THIS TRUE??

Yes. BB has an exclusive deal with HP for new designs. It may be released later on as a CTO, but don't expect it for at least a few months.

They'll end up as a CTO option, most likely, but currently they're only for sale pre-configured at your local Best Buy or online.

If you think the "Clay" looked good, then I don't think you saw the "Verve"

The verve looks soo0o0o sick IMO

Go check it out. It's quite badass.

both the clay and the verve look pretty nice
the clay is more simplistic, and the verve is flashy

got to give hp credit, they try to make their products look flashy....cannot say that about other manufacturers.

It looks like they just upgraded the Clay too. The dv6780se has now become the dv6885se. What a difference a Penryn makes. I bought a dv6885se last week but didn't open it. Tonight I'm going to be racing to a BB to exchange it for The New Hotness.
