    hp dv7t keyboard character question...

    on my keys, there's the usual black characters that it should be when you press it normally or with shift. but also, some have the french-canadian characters too... in blue colour. i have the dv7t-1014ca model.

    sometimes i accidently activate those characters. it's a pain to get rid of. just now they just retorted back to the regular by me re-opening firefox, but what's the actual button combination to activate/re-activate this. like my "?" question mark key would be the e with an accent, or my "~" would be the "#" number sign instead.
