How did you manage to get yours to 510 MHz for memory?

I've got an HP Pavilion dv9500 and I CANNOT get my memory past 495, although I can get my CORE to a full 700 MHz.

My stock was 500/400, now I'm at 700/500. Not bad, but I wish my memory didn't hold me back!

I have literally tried every driver on the web and I got an error message EVERY single time I try to setup the exe...It says something like the driver is incompatible with the drivers you are currently using or something along those lines...

I just received this laptop this morning too..

go to laptopvideo2go.com and downlload 169.04 and the inf file then after you extract, replace the old inf file with the new one.
i suggest waiting before ovweclocking. becuase you just got the laptop and the last thing you want to do is destoy it. with out nothing its potentail.

my scores with out overclocking were so much lower than yours. if it is not the 512mb that is have or the cpu (which it shouldn't be) than something is wrong with my hardware.
but im going to run a test again stocked.
try call of juaraz dx10 benckmark and see what you get stocked and oc

yeah, it would be the overclocking for sure. it's like we have to bring our card up to where it's suppose to be, instead of them giving it to us that way...

well if you dont mind having eye candy the yes turn down the grahpics and turn v-sync off and you'll get more then 30 fps.

but if you turn the grahpics all up and your card isnt over clock you get around 5-10 fps

i turned the v-sync on because it is not a powerful card first of all and it will stutter and have big dips down to zero fps because of the you are pushing the card as for as it can go and it heats up and dip. cools down, clocks go up, heats up and dip.. again and again

    but with v-snyc it's lock at 30
fps and it's not going any higher theree for you will have steady gameplay

so if you have the 8600m gs and want eye candy on a demanding game turn v-sync on
