I just put an order down for a dv9000t with the following specs:

    Your customized PC includes:

    - FREE Upgrade to Genuine Windows XP Media Center!!
    - Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor T7200 (2.0 GHz)
    - 17.0" WSXGA+ BrightView Widescreen (1680x1050)
    - 512MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7600
    - HP IMPRINT Finish + Microphone + Webcam
    - 2.0GB DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024MB)
    - 100 GB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive
    - FREE Upgrade - LightScribe DVD+/-RW w/Double Layer
    - Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network w/Bluetooth
    - No TV Tuner w/remote control
    - High Capacity 8 Cell Lithium Ion Battery
    - Microsoft(R) Works/Money
    - HP Mobile Remote Control

Now I was wondering if you guys see any items here that may be cause for concern on a delayed build/ship date? The reason I ask is because I'm on somewhat of a tight schedule. Thanks.

Well, if the Core 2 Duo T7200 is still causing back orders at HP (and other manufacturers) that would cause a delay.

Not sure if it still is causing delays or not.

Call HP and check with them for more info.

    Hope this helps.

    :)

I got my dv9000t the day after it shipped from Hong Cong, China!!! HP has great shipping in my opinion.

gtiracer06, make sure you read the estimated build date for your laptop. This determines the shipping day.

Ahh. I saw 06 in your handle and assumed mk5. Sounds like a nice car. :)

I have a 1.8T, 205HP/291TQ with the stock turbo on race gas.

oh no, 6 is just my fav number and the gtiracer06 has stuck with me with nearly everything.

what chip are you running and other mods to be making that much torque on stock turbo?

generally you get like 200whp/240wtq with the normal mods, but to get 290 is very nice

At the time it was GIAC v11, 3" turboback, dual stage MBCs, modded stock air box, and lots of tinkering with Lemmiwinks. I have yet to see anyone with a higher stock turbo torque number. Highest I've seen is low 280s. I've since gone a little less agressive with the engine tuning, now I'm all about autocross and back road burning. :)
