    The hp is cleaning out the envy series I guess. Right now theres a 450$ discount for envy 13 and can apply to student accounts which additional discounts and bring price down to 700 bucks.

    the hp envy is underrated and overshadowed by hp envy 14 and 17's marketing. it has the radiance display and honestly is pretty .

    Still expensive though, $899 after instant $450 rebate.
    If they pushed it down to $5-600 I'd might get one just to have as an ultra portable, an accessory to my future Envy 17 3D :)

    Would you guys say its worth getting if I can get it to 580$ with the coupon I have? I mean its sandy bridge time and it has a core 2 duo cpu, dont know if its too outdated...

    Why not just get a envy 14 sell the slice battery and have only paid 200 more. you could then sell the 14 in a year for atleast 600 easy.

    I would buy this except it has a 4 cell standard battery..you would need the slice to get more than like 3 hours on it
