    for the i5 processors, when you switch the graphic mode from intel to ati, does that affect the external monitor as well?

    for example, external monitor will be pushed out through ati when you switch from intel to ati, and pushed out through intel when you don't switch from intel > ati.

    is this a correct assumption?

    hdmi only works while on ati.

    ...not sure 'bout the mini display port
