    plz guys help sometimes i hear a click from the left side of my hdx16 and that same click always happens when i shut down the system and its not from the hard drive i checked it is something near the fan could that be hp protect smart or something plz if any one hear it tell plz and another thing the fan goes very loud when i install the battery with ac on is that normal???????????

    I don't know about your first problem but my hdx16's fans come on when plugged in too. That is normal.
