    hp media center remote not activating media center

    hi all

    on the hp pci express remote control, the media center button used to work - ie you press it, media center loads, press while media center is running and it shrinks or restores full screen of the program.

    however, after a reinstallation using the restore discs, the button no longer functions. all others do perfectly, but i just cant seem to load up media center via the remote.

    any clues on how to get this working?
