i have a hp mini 210-1032cl, it works, battery holds a charge but when i plug in the power cord. the power cord indication light doesn't come on and it remains on battery power. i've tried plugging the ac adapter into other outlets but i get the same results. do i need a new motherboard? or what?

Not a new motherboard but the ac connection on the laptop seems to be broken some how. If in warranty send it to hp to fix it. If not anycomputer shop can fix this without a problem even yourself. Now thinking about it doest it charge the battery even tho it shows no signs of it doing so. Also u may just want to try someone else ac adapter first to make sure the problem is within the laptop or just the plug
