im just new here, i have a prob regarding with my laptop hp pavilion dv2000
i cant use my built-in cyberlink youcam so i try to system recovery. it goes smooth, but a month passed by, no cam again, i used system recovery again but this time still no cam. then i try the dylanbennett strategy, i loaded acer extensa 5210 chicony webcam driver 5.7 at step 6 no pop up appears like this (It popped up something saying it was installing the drivers for my webcam. Waited until it was done) so i continue to step 7 and 8 but at step 16 ,says (installing this device driver is not recommended because windows cannot verify that it is compatible with your hardware. if the driver is not compatible, your harware will not work correctly and your computer might become unstable or stop working completely. do you want to continue installing this driver. press yes but still no device detected, help me please.

Link Take the link, then pick your model plus operating system and hopefully the drivers you choose will be a newer version than what's on your recovery disc. If that doesn't work this person used manycam drivers and they worked fine to replace the cyberlink.
