    after doing some research ,, i settled on the dv6000t , due to the fact i did not want anything bigger than 15.4 inch....here is what i got-

    just bought be this hp notoebook-HP Pavilion dv600t

    is the nividai geforce 7400 decient in performance, is it a lot better than intergrated?
    does hp have a support forum like dell?

    I got one last friday, almsot the same except I got the Core 2 Duo 2.0 ghz. I think the gpu is fine, it is able to play fear on in medium settings I heard. I like how it supports hardware video (h264) acceleration. Did you add an additional AC adapter or something?

    well.... i did not see the ac adapter in the origal order, will return it if i get 2...sure don,t need 2.

    the laptop comes with an ac adaptor in the package already so u dont need to add one.

    You also might want to upgrade to 2GB of ram, that would definitely speed everything up. They will it for $116 for a pair of good Kingston ones at Zippy***mfly with three shipping. I got mine (Crucial) at $110 from newegg with their subscriber coupon.

    thanks for the info.... it shipped monday, 23rd ,,shanghi, china, but missed the fedx cut-off.....

    now sitting in ankorage, alaska, 25th, wed.....

    should get it friday, will post some pics.....the pics of the hp dv6000t are hard to find , here or at any other forum.

    how much u pay for ur pavilion?how long is ur batt life can last?2.5hr-4hrs?
