This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     HP shopping CANADA : is there a way to configure the notebook you wanna order ?

    Does ordering by phone make it possible ?

    It's amazing to see the HP USA shopping site and all it's notebook models comparing to the poor canadian store!!

    Unfortunately not. The only way to get US HP notebooks is to come to the US. My uncle makes a trip up from British Columbia every other year, and once ordered a new notebook from HP when he was visiting.

    I called HP Customer Support Canada and HP Shopping Canada and was told that we can only order the "SmartBuy" and "Standard" configs, both online and by phone. HP Canada will not do custom configs (unless your buying large quantities ie hundreds or more).

    When it comes to online shopping, with a few exceptions like Dell, Canada sucks :p
