I've recently brought a hp dv7t 4190us laptop note book. this note book came with an led 17.3 bright view display screen. After an unlucky chain of events, my laptop screen was broken. So, i called HP. I then went though the steps of getting my screen replaced with out an warranty. After paying 329 bucks for the repair, i send my laptop to hp by fed ex. I get my laptop back - this is where the issues start. My screen is fixed BUT, it is not a brightview screen. It is a standard crappy screen. So i then call hp again but, this time with a compliant. Next, once again i go though all these steps and getting so many "Sorrys", We will fix this issue", etc. Moving on, i send the laptop back once again and i get it back...once again and ITS THE SAME SCREEN!!!
This is where my questions come in
1 - How can i tell that my screen is not a brightveiw with out opening the laptop (this will break the warrenty)or telling hp that the screen dose not turn dark at certain angles? (which brightview screens do and not the one that hp put in my laptop)
2 - dose anyone know the product number of the screen its self that the dv7t 4190us comes with?
3 - where can i buy the correct bright view screen for my laptop?
Please help me out with this, im very angry with hp and i can not talk to another read form the list of what to do indian man.
