I can't find any info on Nvidia C51M MOBO I need to know the max processor it can handle. same with max ram and also a bluray internal player if possible. Its like all the info was just wipe clean on google.

Is there also a better fan I can install besides the factory one

The max processor should be a Turion TL-68(HP offered max of TL-66 with the tx1000 series) considering the motherboard uses socket S1g1. As far as the RAM I have seen people use a total of 4GB RAM, more might be possible but havent seen anyon try more than that yet. Make sure you have the latest bios before doing either upgrade.

    thanks for the fast reply.
Do you think XP 32 or 64 will run better on this laptop then vista home 32 cause of the graphic card.

4gb ram is that only for 64bit? what type of ram

Think it's possible to get a blu ray player installed

This laptop has a very poor cooling which processor fan is best other then the stock

I used to have a system with the Go 6150 GPU and ran Vista fine. Its up to you what OS you prefer. I wouldnt however recommend XP 64bit since its going to have even poorer support than Vista 32/64 bit.

No, you can use it with a 32bit OS as well but it wont be capable of using all of it unlike a 64bit OS. A 32 bit OS is only going to make available ~3GB+/-.
    The tx1000 uses 200 pin DDR2 667(PC2 6400) SODIMM memory.

    Sorry no idea.

I doubt any aftermarket cooling fan even exists. There arent much in terms of aftermarket cooling devices since most laptop designs are proprietary. However you might want to consider a external cooling pad which has fans on it which should aid in cooling the system down.

Honestly, I haven't used a laptop cooler for mine either so cant recommend a particular one but look for some thing which blows air into the laptop than sucking out since the fans on these systems suck air from the bottom. As long as there is proper circulation of air underneath the laptop it should reduce the temperatures a bit.
