    hp zt3000 or hp compaq (business) nx7010

    Which one is a better computer to purchase? I will be using the machine for everything from graphic design, internet, word processing, games etc etc. They seem to have the same options and about the same price.

    yes, the difference is the nx7000 is the business machine, so I believe it has different software bundled and a slightly different AC adapter. I'm sure someone will come along shortly to be able to tell you the rest of the differnces between consumer and business models.

    I actually had the NX7000 and I think the main difference was that it came with XP Pro rather than XP Home. Like Quikster said, it may have more software suited for a home user in the ZT series, but then again, the NX didn't really come with much. All the NX came with was Adaptec CD burning software, Real Jukebox & Norton Antivirus. Otherwise, they're the exact same unit. The AC adapter should also be similar between the units. If you're located in the US, you can custom config the units to match your needs, but in Canada, you can only get pre-built models with set configs [ :(].
