Anyone own a dv6885se or comparable laptop? If so, does the spacebar feel 'odd' compared to the rest of the keys?

When I hit the rest of the keys there is a satisfying 'click'. The spacebar doesn't have this. I mean sensitivity wise it has yet to miss a stroke. it just doesn't feel right, somehow.

I didnt think this would really be a big deal. I do have a dv2500SE which shares the same keyboard as yours

Yes it does make a clicking noise when pressed

You can try ask for a replacement, theyll probably just send you a new keyboard. Its quite easy to replace. Im not too sure a missing keyboard 'click' sound warrants for a replacement though

if you want, you could pull the keyboard off (pretty easy, there should be a plastic part at the top of your keyboard (the edge of your laptop) that can pop off with a screwdriver) , disconnect it from the laptop, bend the wires until one snaps in half, plug it in to see what it does, if its broke, call for warrenty, if its not, repeat :)
