    Do u guys know if I can buy a notebook from hpshopping.com on lease for at least 24 months ? I'm an international student and I don't have a social security number or driver's licence which they want, but I was able to register with the academic purchasing program without any problems.

    Very Doubghtful, as they need a SSN & Driver's license number to run a credit check on you.

    The best way would be ask some of your local friends to get one for you and then pay them upfront.

    I bought my laptop on hpshopping.com, and they needed my SSN #.

    I think you can finance it for 24 months, but I financed mine in 12 because I got no payments for that period of time and no interest.

    Better off paying them up front, if I had to buy another laptop again, not that financing is bad, I would pay up front to aviod monthly payments.
