    hi all, am new here and have one question to ask all who alaready own a zd8000. am thinking of getting one have a ze2000 now and want to up grade soon. so let me know what you think of the zd8000. thanks :hp: :hp:

    I don't own a zd8000, but I have worked on a few. The Pentium 4 in them run hot and they are heavy. Battery life is not that good due to the Pentium 4. I thought the keyboard was pretty good, but the touch pad is off center which I did not care for. The screen on them are good. If you want to play games, the Dell 9300 with the 6800 go card is probably a better choice and Dell has coupons right now. The Fujitsu n6000 series or Asus W2v will offer better quality. Without having a clue of what you are doing with it, it is hard to help. You should fill out the FAQ in the hardware forum. Good Luck.
