    HPshopping.com says it should be built by 10/27/2005. I got all the bells & whislte, minus the 100 GB...I sacrificed space for the speedy 80gb 5400...but all the other best options I got. I don't care about the software, I'll be installing my own. Anyway, my credit card was charged. Does that mean it may come sooner? I'll be using this for school and play. Can't wait to listen to my DVD's with headphones on while doing homework in the library at school. I'll even be ableto copy my recorded shows from my built HTPC.

    HP has a habit of getting machines to buyers a few days early. On the recent launch of the Dv4000 they had so many complaints about hold ups in cutoms (really it was only a day) that they have changed the language on the web site from "expected ship date" to "expected build date". My machine got to me three days prior to the expected arrival date.
