i called Hp to tell them about the defective speakers. they immedeatly told me they will authorize an exchange . originally i ordered a windows vista ultimate

but now i think i want to order a home premium but i wanted to ask you people which is better?

i am a full time grad student. so gaming and surfing for research are the only things i do.

please tell me which is better and faster the ultimate or the home preimium?

    thanks

Too make it short ultimate regroup all the features of home premium and business. You will probably not notice the difference between VU and VHP beside for the games. Keep Ultimate if downgrading to Home Premium isn't cheaper.

If you system has 2Gb of ram or more it will be the same. I'll keep the Ultimate as it's the complete version of vista, has all that home premium offers and even more. You'll never know what you need in the future.
