    i saw the setting on the futureshop website and not quite sure if it is a good deal for $700 CAD

    Has a very weak integrated GPU, it will probably play Devil May Cry 4 on very low settings...
    but it's not a gaming laptop. I wouldn't buy it if that's your goal.

    in the 'states' you can get a better-spec'd G70 for that price. I paid U$ 529 after rebates and tax for my G70 two months ago. The only downside to the G60/70 is the lack of an ExpressCard slot.
