    i own a hp compaq presario CQ61 laptop and the battery wont charge :(
    it shows that it is plugged in but it says plugged in, not charging ....
    but it charges when i restart and then plug it in but if i once take it out it doesnt charge ......
    please help me out friends ..............

    Have you tried using another battery to see if the problem still exists with a different battery? I work for HP and could be possible the battery needs to be replaced.
