I tried posting this question under the E14 owner's lounge thread, but it got skipped over rather quickly, so I'm making a thread in hopes that it will get noticed.

Has anyone received an i3 base model of the Envy 14? I'm curious as to whether there is a CPU whine, and I'm also wondering what the battery life is in comparison with the i5 models.

    Thanks everyone!

I know someone bought one, but I don't think it's arrived for 'em yet

I haven't heard any complaints about the base model yet.
